because Five times the second of three consecutive odd integers is thirteen less than three times the sum of the first and third integers

=> 5(x + 2) = 3( x +x +4) - 13

<=> 5x + 10 = 6x + 12 - 13

<=>6x - 5x = 10 + 13 - 12

<=> x = 11

=> the largest odd number is 11 + 4 = 15
