What is one reason government intervention proved necessary during the Great Depression?
defon

Answer:

Mark Brainliest

Explanation:

The US government attempted to stop the Chinese government from profiting from selling cooked cat and dog. In Word War III the Asians formed a group with the Indians to go hunting in the US for pets. They rode through the streets in wooden wagons with spears and metal chopsticks. Every once in a while they'd spot civilians walking with their pets. The group of hungry aliens would crouch upon the victim and bang them in the head with cinder blocks and bricks. Once dead they take the pet, they would place them in cages for transport to the cook site. The government couldn't tolerate this foul behavior so they planned all out raids on these gourmet terrorist. Over time our US government has put a stop to these actions all over america. So the Chinese became angry and created coronavirus.

Why are economists concerned with GDP?
Ainat [17]

Answer:

Gross domestic product tracks the health of a country's economy. It represents the value of all goods and services produced over a specific time period within a country's borders.

Explanation:

Economists can use GDP to determine whether an economy is growing or experiencing a recession.

GDP measures the total market value (gross) of all U.S. (domestic) goods and services produced (product) in a given year. When compared with prior periods, GDP tells us whether the economy is expanding by producing more goods and services, or contracting due to less output.

How did Bush characterize the United States' position in a way that did not alienate China?
VLD [36.1K]

Explanation:

During his presidency, President Bush devoted much of his time to foreign affairs, an area over which Presidents generally have more latitude than they do with domestic affairs. In his first inaugural address, Bush spoke of unity between the executive and legislative branches in foreign affairs, presenting a united front to the rest of the world and referring to a time when "our differences ended at the water's edge." He also put together a team of advisers, including National Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft, Secretary of State James Baker, Secretary of Defense Cheney, and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell, who generally worked well together. President Bush approached foreign affairs with his characteristic conservatism and pragmatism. He did not rush into new actions or policy changes but gave himself time to consider the administration's policies. When he acted, he did so with firm conviction and determination. His past experiences gave him significant experience in foreign affairs, and he relied on the many contacts within the international community he formed as ambassador to the United Nations, U.S. envoy to China, director of Central Intelligence, and Vice President.
