Genesis one and two reveal that god has provided some of his attributes in human. People love because they are made in the image of god who is love (1John 4:16). In Genesis 1-2, human nature was created to be the dominant creation to dwell and enjoy God's creations. Genesis 2 speaks of the first man, Adam, to be given the responsibility over God's creations, anywhere from naming all of the animals and to creating his wife, Eve, in a long and dreamy sleep. In Genesis 1-2, the Scriptures mainly focuses on God and His creations. He spoke and He created. The commands God gave Adam were to influence Adam to explore and experience the pleasures of God and all things created by Him. Perhaps, the commands to Adam and his actions to witness life were how human nature was revealed. By the end of Genesis 2, we realize that our ideal human nature is to obey the Lord and His word, as obedience was the main idea God intended among human beings.
