Johns boat was 30 miles away. It traveled 20 miles in 5 hours (50-30 = 20)

20/5 = 4

It traveled at 4 miles per hour.

The equation for Roberta’s boat multiplied 5 by x( number of hours) so this means her boat is traveling at 5 miles per hour.

Then 25 gets added at the end, this means her boat was 25 miles away at the beginning.

Johns boat was further away at the beginning and Robertas boat is traveling faster.

Please help! Giving Brainliest! 1.How many college students are majoring in elementary education?
anzhelika [568]
1. Unless you have the total students, it would be D, because we don't know how many total students there are, so we don't know how many students 100% would be.

2. E. There are only 7% of the students who major in a medical area. So say out of 100 students, 7% of that would be 7 people, and 19% would be 19 people, and so on. So therefore, the least people are majoring in a medical field.

The triangular pyramid shown is made up of four congruent triangles. The length of the base is 8 inches, and the height of the b
Aneli [31]

Answer:

(B) Talia is correct. The lateral area can be found by approximating one large triangle, which can be found using the expression 4 (one-half (8) (6.9))

Step-by-step explanation:

Base of the Pyramid = 8 Inches

Height of the Triangular Face = 6.9 Inches

In any solid shape, the Lateral surface area is the sum of all sides except its top and bottom bases.

Since the four triangles are congruent:

Lateral Surface Area = 4 X Area of One Triangle

Area of a Triangle = \frac{1}{2}$ X Base X Height

Area of one Triangular Face = \dfrac{1}{2}(8)(6.9)

Therefore:

Lateral Surface Area = 4\left(\dfrac{1}{2}(8)(6.9)\right)

Therefore, Talia is correct.

During the summer, you work 30 hours per week at a gas station and earn $8.75 per hour. You also work as a landscaper for $11 pe
Lena [83]
You need to work about 12.5 hours because from your gas station job, since you work 30 hours every week, times that by 8.75$ which equals 262.5$ at the end of the week, so subtract 262.5 from 400 which is 137.5, then you need to dived that by 11 since its $ per hour, after doing that you get 12.5 hours, so you would have to work 12.5 hours at your landscaper job
