Do you agree with Dr. Eberhardt that our brains are hard wired for racial bias? Explain.
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Yes, I do agree. Because as humans we are quick to judge before we get to know someone. For example, people tend to think all white people are racist and all black people are dumb, but that is certainly not the case. Not all white people treat black people like slaves and not all black people didn't grow up in the hood living off the government. The saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover," relates so much to this. Like Dr.Eberhardt said, our brains are hard wired for racial bias. Because humans aren't perfect, and yes sometimes we do judge a book by it's cover and yes we see it's true colors once we start reading.

Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

5:In the United States, the term fourth estate is sometimes used to place the press alongside the three branches of government: legislative, executive and judicial. The fourth estate refers to the watchdog role of the press, one that is important to a functioning democracy.

6:Why is the media called the fourth estate? The term hails from the European concept of the three estates of the realm - the clergy, the nobility and the commoners. ... It has come to symbolise the media or press as a segment of society that has an indirect but key role in influencing the political system.

In "Sonnet 75,"Spenser allows the speaker's lover to respond
Effectus [21]

Similar responses:

 • In both the poems the beloved is seen responding to her lover and his love.
 • In the first poem, the beloved has no issue with the lover forgetting her and the waves washing her name away. It is the lover who insists on eternalizing their love.
 • The nymph too is not moved by all the material gifts given to her by her lover and speaks the truth when she says that if youth was to stay for long she wouldn’t mind being her beloved. Her approach to love is very straightforward and like the beloved in Spenser’s sonnet she is very candid to her lover baring her mind to him.
