Answer:

\huge\boxed{(f\circ g)(x)=8x-19}

Step-by-step explanation:

(f\circ g)(x)=f\bigg(g(x)\bigg)\\\\f(x)=4x-7;\ g(x)=2x-3\\\\\text{Put instead}\ x\ \text{expression}\ 2x-3\ \text{to }\ f(x):\\\\(f\circ g)(x)=4(2x-3)-7=(4)(2x)+(4)(-3)-7=8x-12-7=8x-19

Your answer should be -2
Use PEMDAS if confused!
Parentheses
Exponent
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction.
You would first calculate the number in between your parentheses which would give you -1. Then do -1 to the power of 4(-1^4) which still gives you -1 and then multiply it by 2 which should give you your answer -2. :)
Hope this helps.

What are the explicit equation and domain for a geometric sequence with a first term of 4 and a second term of −12?
Lerok [7]
a_1=4;\ a_2=-12\\\\r=\dfrac{a_2}{a_1}\to r=\dfrac{-12}{4}=-3

The formula of a geometric sequence:

a_n=a_1\cdot r^{n-1}

substitute

a_n=4\cdot(-3)^{n-1}

The\ domain:\ \text{all integers where}\ n\geq1

Answer: \boxed{a_n=4(-3)^{n-1};\ \text{all integers where}\ n\geq1}
