Okay so if Roberto wants to save 1/6 of his allowance which is , $2.00 a day, he would need to divide his allowance by 6. This is because the problem is saying that he is gonna divide his money into 6 different piles, but he only wants to keep one of those piles. So if you divide $2 by 6 you get, .333.... repeating. Now all you have to do is round and that's your answer

Answer:

STUV is a square

Step-by-step explanation:

segment length² = (x-x₁)² + (y-y₁)²

ST²: (-9 - 1)2 + (14 - 10)² = (-10)² + 4² = 116   (the rest follow this formula)

TU² = 116    TV² = 232    SU² = 232   SV² = 116   UV² = 116

ST = TU =SV = UV  (4 sides congruent)

TV = SU  (diagonal equal)

This is a square

students were asked to simplify the expression . two students' work is given. student a step 1: step 2: step 3: 1 tan2 θ step 4:
Whitepunk [10]

Student B is wrong , student A is correct in simplifying the expression .

Expression B must be simplified to cot θ .

Formulas to be used are :

1 - sin^{2} θ = cos^{2}θ

 1 - cot^{2}θ = tan^{2}θ .

Since , location of error is step 3 , we will start from there

[ ( 1 - sin^{2}θ ) / sin θ ] / cos θ    = [ ( 1 - sin^{2}θ ) / sin θ ] * [ 1 / cos θ ]

                          = ( 1 - sin^{2}θ ) / ( sin θ * cos θ )

               = cos^{2} θ / ( sin θ * cos θ )

                   = cot θ .
