You didn't say anything so I have to assume that other than the two conditions mentioned for the fist and last digit, all numbers 0-9 are permissible.

1st digit cannot be a 5. Therefore there are 9 possibilities
digits 2-5 can be any digit. There are 10 possibilities for each. There are 4 digits involved, so there are 104 possibilities.
Finally the last, 6th digit must be odd. Therefore there are 5 possibilities.

The number of different possible codes is
9 x 104 x 5 = 45 x 104 = 450,000

Find the coordinates of the midpoint of a segment with the endpoints M(6, −41) and N(−18, −27). Then find the distance between t
mezya [45]

Answer:

Midpoint is (-6,-34)

Step-by-step explanation:

(6+(-18))/2. (-41+(-27))/2

-12/2. (-68)/2

-6. , - 34

Distance =(6--18)^2 +(-14--27)^2

23^2. +13^2

529 +169

= 698

So u will find the square root of 698

The ans u get is the distance

20% of the total candy in a basket is Reese's chocolate. There are 8 Reese's in the basket. What is the total number of pieces o
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

I believe it is 40. I'm not 100% sure though

Step-by-step explanation:

If 20% of the candy is reese's and there are 8 reese's in the basket, to find the answer you must multiply 8 by 5. You multiply 8 by 5 because to get 100% you have to multiply 20% by 5 to get 100%.

Which of the following is the area of a trapezoid whose dimensions are base one = 10 cm, base two = 5 cm, and height = 2 cm?
Pavel [41]

Answer:

The correct answer is D. 15 squared centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's review the data given to us for solving the question:

Base one = 10 centimeters

Base two = 5 centimeters

Height = 2 centimeters

2. Let's find out the area of the trapezoid, using the following formula:

Area = 1/2 (Base one + Base two) * Height

Replacing with real values:

Area = 1/2 (10 + 5) * 2

Area = 1/2 (15 * 2) = 1/2 (30)

Area = 15 centimeters ²

The correct answer is D. 15 squared centimeters.
