In this ecosystem the Leopard usually eats the Giant Panda bear cubs because the adult pandas are very intimidating out in the wild because of their size. The Leopard is then eaten by the Bengal Tiger which in this situation is the Tertiary Consumer and is at the top of the Panda Bears food chain.

The Panda comes under the secondary consumer, as it uses photosynthesis to produce its food – Bamboo. Cubs become a prey to other animals such as Leopards and tigers, which are known as the primary consumer. However adults intimidate other predators because of their great size.

The respiratory rate times the tidal volume corrected for the dead air space in the lungs is the __________.
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

d. alveolar ventilation rate

Explanation:

Alveolar Ventilation rate (AVR) refers to the rate of airflow that reaches the alveoli which is available for gas exchange with the blood in a given unit of time. AVR is generally calculated as the amount in millimeters of air expired that equilibrates (i.e., exchanges) with alveolar gas per min unit (ml/min). AVR is affected by breathing frequency, tidal volume ( i.e., the normal amount of air between inhalation and exhalation), and the amount of dead space in the lungs.
