Atherosclerosis is a condition where hardening plaque forms in damaged areas of the arteries. As the amount of plaque increases,

We know that our organs needs blood to function properly so this decrease in the flow of blood leads to starvation of the muscles and other tissues in the lower body. Poor circulation of blood to lower region can cause pain in the legs.
