This is in the most common sense true. The Gallbladder is the storage unit of the Bilary system and stores excess bile produced by the Liver. During digestion to help deal with oils, the bile is then excreted into the first segment of the small intestines, called the Duodenum.
However depending on the answer giver, this may be false; if they consider it the Liver (as 50% of bile actually goes to the Duodenum from the liver, and the other to the Gallbladder), or if they are very specific with saying this happens via the Bile Duct.
