Direct democracy is a term that is used to describe a form of government in which all the citizens of a state (often adult males) have the right to vote and partake in the decision of the state.
Hence, where all citizens in ancient Athens had the right to attend the Assembly, where they could meet in open discussion and cast votes is a good example of "DIRECT DEMOCRACY"
