As the nation grew and new states were added to the union, what challenges did this present regarding slavery?
xenn [34]

Throughout the first half of the nineteenth century, the Northern and Southern regions of the United States struggled to find a mutually acceptable solution to the slavery issue. Unfortunately, little common ground could be found. The cotton-oriented economy of the American South continued to rest on the shoulders of its slaves, even as Northern calls for the abolition of slavery grew louder. At the same time, the industrialization of the North continued. During the 1820s and 1830s, the different needs of the two regions' economies further strained relations between the North and the South.

The first half of the nineteenth century was also a period of great expansion for the United States. kozerog [31]

The answer is between 5 and 7 pm. According to Dr. James B. Maas and Rebecca S. Robbins, that time slot is the best time for athletic activity because it improves the depth of sleep of students at night (In their research, they stated that the optimal amount of sleep time is 8 to 10 hours for a teenager). They also found out that between the 6th and 8th hour of sleep, the brain gets in a state that enhances muscle memory significantly, which combined with better overall sleep, will result in better athletic performance.

blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

Landscape was an established genre in Chinese art by the 4th century, but in western art, landscape painting doesn't really begin until after the era of Renaissance art in the sixteenth century. Of course many painters, from Roman times onwards, had included scenic views in their paintings, but these were ancillary to the main theme of the painting. The main problem with landscape was that it ranked very low in the academic hierarchy of the genres. This hierarchy

krok68 [10]

Answer:

Direct control

Explanation:

People who have autonomy are said to be in direct control of themselves where they have almost all the control on most aspects of their lives.
