Both Carnegie and Rockefeller
were the biggest businessmen and the riches in the 20th century. After
all their great amount of profits garnered, both had individually decided to embark
in a journey of charities. Carnegie had charity contributions that were made
into school such as the Carnegie Institution, Tuskegee Instituion, and a lot
more. He was dubbed as the patron saints of libraries and decided to set up
more charitable foundations. Rockefeller on the other had a lot of charities
and activities that gave away his excess money into charitable causes. He too
had built schools by starting to build University of Chicago.
But with all their
charitable and business contributions, I would say I like Carnegie more because
it gave away of a lot of technologies we know of today and he is working on a
principle he deeply believes in that after gaining your wealth you should contribute
this wealth for the general welfare. However, Rockefeller too was great and
focused his contributions on public service.
Answer: C. Increase
Explanation:
An oligopoly is a market structure in which a few firms dominate. When a market is shared between a few firms, it is said to be highly concentrated. Although only a few firms dominate, it is possible that many small firms may also operate in the market.
Where few firms dominate the equilibrium price will increase because the demand will be high, and this will make the equilibrium price increase.
The response of local competitors was slow because they lacked the ability to marshal resources.
Explanation:
The focused cost leadership is a tactic in which businesses selling identical goods in a given market reduce their prices to raise sales and gain a competitive edge. Rather than sacrificing on value or already investing scarce resources to develop a commodity, reducing prices is a safer way to draw consumers. Walmart used such strategy to establish an edge in smaller communities but local competitors response was time taking as the resources were available but coordination among resources to result into proper manufacturing or servicing was lacking.

Answer:
The correct answer is B) coercive.
Explanation:
A coercive boss is a rigid and inflexible leader. When this style is used, the leader chooses to give many direct orders without offering his subordinates the opportunity to express their ideas and opinions.
This leader not only does not opt for the reward system but also focuses on criticizing and punishing the failures generated by disobedience. Therefore, the motivation of the team suffers greatly from the inability of employees to perceive that thanks to their work, business objectives are being achieved.
It is usually the least effective management style but ... it may be recommended in crisis situations when it is necessary to show authority and employees need clear and direct orders.
