Desmond told his two friends, Marley and Brianna, that he was awarded a $10,000 grant for college if he becomes a math or scienc

e teacher. Desmond wants to teach physics.
Marley told him he should take the grant. Brianna told him not to take the grant. Which statement about their advice is true?
Marley is correct because a grant is like a gift and he can still get scholarships or loans to pay for the rest of his expenses.
Marley is correct because he can take the grant and then study whatever he chooses without paying it back if he changes his mind about his career.
Brianna is correct because he cannot get scholarships if he takes the grant and scholarships would pay more of his education costs.

The diagram below shows some ocean floor features.
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

Seafloor spreading occurs at Feature A and subduction occurs at Feature B

Explanation:

The mid-ocean ridge is the place where the ocean floor spreads. This feature can be found where two plates are moving away from one another. The gap that they live between them enables the magma from the mantle to easily rise up. As the magma comes to the ocean floor, it cools off and creates new crust. As the magma continues to come out, it builds up, creating an underwater mountain chain, known as a mid-ocean ridge.

The ocean trench on the other side, is the place where one plate moves below another plate, thus subducting. As the plate is subducting, it reaches the mantle layer, so its crust is melted by the high temperatures, resulting in the destruction of that crust.
