Which statement best describes the total energy as it moves through the water cycle?
Artist 52 [7]

The correct answer is option D

The energy in the form of heat is absorbed by the water to convert itself into vapour during the process of evaporation. This energy is then released in the atmosphere when the water vapor gets converted into clouds during the process of condensation. From the start of the water cycle , the heat energy of the sun gets converted into the kinetic energy to raise the water vapour to certain height. After reaching heights Kinetic energy is converted into potential energy and then it is finally released to atmosphere after condensation. In the entire process the total energy remains constant it is just being converted from one form to another.

The role of bile in fat digestion is to: a. digest fats in the stomach b. digest fats in the mouth c. hydrogenate the double bon
lutik1710 [3]

Answer: A. Digest fats in the stomach.

Explanation: The liver produces bile. Bile emulsifies fats, It breaks up large droplets of fats into smaller droplets, thereby increasing the surface area for lipases to work on, speeding up the digestion of fat by the lipase. Bile further neutralizes the acid produced by the stomach to provide an alkaline environment for enzymes in the small intestine.

Bile acids are important for digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins in the small intestine.
