Answer:

The Black Death was a devastating global epidemic of bubonic plague that struck Europe and Asia in the mid-1300s. The plague arrived in Europe in October 1347, when 12 ships from the Black Sea docked at the Sicilian port of Messina. People gathered on the docks were met with a horrifying surprise: Most sailors aboard the ships were dead, and those still alive were gravely ill and covered in black boils that oozed blood and pus. Sicilian authorities hastily ordered the fleet of “death ships” out of the harbor, but it was too late: Over the next five years, the Black Death would kill more than 20 million people in Europe—almost one-third of the continent’s population.

How did the Massachusetts Government Act of 1774 change the way Massachusetts was governed?
arsen [322]

Answer: A. It banned colonial assembly.

Explanation:

The British government viewed the Colony of Massachusetts as a threat due to its continued defiance of British mandates and its seemingly leading role in the rebellion of the other colonies to British directives as well.

The last straw to the British was the Boston Tea Part after which Parliament passed the Massachusetts Government Act of 1774 which placed Massachusetts directly under the control of a Royal governor who had absolute powers and suspended the Colonial assembly in order to remove any illusion of self-governance the people had.

On a North American continent controlled by American Indians, contact among the peoples of Europe, the Americas, and West Africa
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Here we just have some sentences and considerations, but there is no question at all. It seems you forgot to include the question.

It is true all the things you attach, but what do you want to know?

If we can help to add some comments, these would be:

Yes, native populations in North America developed a wide variety of social, political, and economic structures based in part on interactions with the environment and each other. But everything changed with the arrival of the white European colonists. They had a completely different vision of life, society, business, and culture.

This encounter was difficult and the Native American Indians tribes got the worst part.

White Europeans came to the Americans to start a new life and make a profit. Some others were being persecuted by the church because of religious differences, and in the Americas, found a new place to practice their religious values.

But most Europeans wanted to exploit the many raw materials and natural resources found in the Americas. That is why they wanted more and more land, to make a profit.

The vision of the Indian tribes was completely different. They saw nature as a "mother" and truly respect her as so. That is why they created songs, chants, and dances, to honor mother nature.

A Constitution is written in order to secure a compromise. The importance of this compromise is that it is defining the rights of citizens and the principles and powers of government (D).

A written Constitution serves to establish and to concretize the powers that are making it. It is written so it can be read by everyone and especially because this turns it into something permanent. It is a way to make a lasting compromise between all that participated in its writing.
