Answer:

DNA is (deoxyribonucleic acid) Is a self-replicating material. It is present in almost every living organism, as the primary constituent of chromosomes. It is the carrier of genetic organisms.

DNA is made up of molecules that are called nucleotides. Each nucleotide contains a phosphate group(a sugar group and a nitrogen base) The four types of nitrogen bases are adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). The order of these bases is what determines DNA's instructions(or genetic code)

Which of the following best describes gross primary productivity in an ecosystem?A. Gross primary productivity is the total amou
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

D. Gross primary productivity is the total amount of solar energy captured by producers through photosynthesis over time.

Explanation:

The gross primary productivity of an ecosystem represents the rate at which the producers of the system capture the solar energy so that they can perform the process of photosynthesis. Therefore, GPP is the total amount of photosynthetic energy captured per unit area over a given time period. Producers consume the part of the GPP for their own respiration and maintenance. Therefore, gross primary productivity is the sum total of the growth of producers per unit area per unit time and the energy used by them for respiration.

Goshia [24]
After fertilization of the ovule, the megaspore develops into the food supply of the mature seed.
After fertilization of the ovule, the <em />integument develops into the seed coat.
After fertilization of the ovule, the fertilized egg develops into the embryo of the mature seed.

The ovule contains the female reproductive cells of the seed plants and when fertilized, it produces the seed. Ovules contain megasporocytes, cells that produce megaspores through cell division. An integument is a layer that protects and surrounds the ovule. After fertilization, the integument protects and surrounds the seed. After fertilization, the ovule contains a diploid zygote which develops into an embryo.
