Answer:

TQ=SR [since it is isosceles trapezoid]

6x+1.2=9x-48

48+1.2=9x-6x

3x=49.2

x=49.2/3=16.4

now

QR=3×16.4+2.5=51.7

SR=9×16.4-48=99.6

ST=4×16.4-2=63.6

TQ=6×16.4+1.2=99.6

GIVEN:

QR = 3x + 2.5

RS = 9x - 4.8

ST = 4x - 2

QT = 6x + 1.2

ANSWER:

As it is an isosceles trapezoid.

We know the non-parallel sides (legs) are equal in measure.

So, TQ = SR

6x + 1.2 = 9x - 4.8

6x - 9x = - 4.8 - 1.2

- 3x = - 6

x = 2.

So, QR = 8.5; RS = 13.2; ST = 6; 13.2

viktelen [127]

Answer: 13%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A piece of luggage sells for $225.00 it is on sale this week for $195.00 .

Decrease in price = $225.00-$195.00= $30.00

Formula to find the percent decrease :-

\dfrac{\text{Decrease in price}}{\text{Previous price}}\times100\\\\=\dfrac{30}{225}\times100=13.3333333333\approx13\%\ \ [\text{Rounded to the nearest whole percent.}]

Hence, the  percent decrease = 13%
