It could effect the whole play because once you go onto the next scene and one is skipped, you can miss the answer to a problem that occurred before. Romeo and Juliet have such detailed scenes that it wouldn't make sense to take a scene out... It's like you changed the whole entire play
If it has to do with emotional appeal, and not logic, stats, or credibility.
