noname [10]

Answer:

Not quite sure what you are aiming for in this question; however, I guess that is true? A blind man wouldn´t simply rely on a lamp-post to get around.  I guess what is being said is that statistics should be used when it is useful? There are plenty of ways people can analyze that statement.

klemol [59]

Answer:  70

Step-by-step explanation:

Antoine's elevation when he is halfway to the top is 70. You cut the diameter (120) in half which gets you 60 and you add the height of the stand holding the wheel (10) which gets you 70.

What is the value of cose in the diagram below?
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

cos \theta = 0.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw a line from point ( 0.6, 0.8 ) to the X - axis, forming a right triangle with hypotenuse = r = 1 , adjacent = 0.6,  opposite = 0.8

cos \theta = \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse} , \ where \ adjacent = 0.6 ,\ hypotenuse \ = r= 1

cos \theta = \frac{0.6}{1}\\\\cos \theta = 0.6\\\\\theta = cos^{-1} \ 0.6\\\\\theta = 53.13^\circ
