The long-established toads represent an older population of toads in Australia. They are being taken over by a current invasion

of Fogg Dam toads. These toads have longer legs and are very active at night. Use the evidence in the data to explain how differential survival and reproduction is occurring in this population, and predict how this current invasion would affect the population.

Answer:

Differential survival indicates that a particular advantageous trait is benefiting a species, allowing the species to survive and produce more offspring. In the case of the Fogg Dam toad, it is evident that they are highly invasive as a species because they have the beneficial traits of long legs and the ability to move both during the day and at night. They also move much faster per day than the established toads in this area. The species passed along these traits to their offspring, giving their babies the ability to run even faster to continue to survive the invasion.

A stitch in time saves nine is an idiom meaning that it's better to deal with problems right away and spend less time doing that than later when more time is going to be needed.

Paladinen [302]

NYU experience:

Since I was in the tenth grade, I have presented TED Talks on the subjects of inclusivity and self-expression. I've learned to use the experience of being bullied and silenced as motivation to speak out against bullying and advance an inclusive culture. When I was in 11th grade, I founded a group that educates middle schoolers on how to handle the transition to high school and fights to bully.

How my experience would help to shape it?

Working with groups like "No Bully" and programs like "Be Fearless," I want to bring these discussions about the value of a safe space and inclusivity to middle schools in Providence. Encourage kids to speak up for one another by being kind to them.

I intend to contribute to The Round Magazine and organizations like WORD because poetry has become a crucial part of my personal development and a tool for helping others. By potentially working with Artbeat, I would look into ways to connect poetry and the visual arts.

I'm also interested in exploring the connections between poetry and the sciences, how they can be applied to one another, and how science can improve my poetry writing and help me become a top psychiatrist.

My love for the arts and writing could be tapped into by working with Providence organizations like AS220, a non-profit community arts organization in the city's downtown. To encourage others to express themselves more fully and vulnerably, I would serve as a volunteer AS220 teacher and perhaps introduce activities and workshops.

Hence to conclude that the above experience would help to shape
