Answer:

4 miles and \frac{24}{28}

Step-by-step explanation:

so first you would Try and find common denominators the way i usually do that is by multiplying the denominators together so in this case it would be 7 times 4 which would give u 28 as the common denominator then u would do the denominators of 7 and 4 by the numberators of the other fraction so then the 2 fractions you should have are \frac{20}{28} and \frac{7}{28\\} so then you would do \frac{20}{28} times 4 because 4/4 is equal to 1 hour so u would have to run 4 more times which would give u \frac{80}{28} turn that into a mixed number to get 4\frac{24}{28}  so Terrance ran 4 miles and  \frac{24}{28}

Hope this helps!

Given: m
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

m∠LTE = 110

Step-by-step explanation:

1. add up all of the arcs.

2x+3x+4x-8+x-12

2. all of the arcs equal 360

2x+3x+4x-8+x-12=360

3. Find x

10x-20=360, x=38

4. angle LTE is equal to half of the sum of the intercepted arcs.

0.5(arc LE +GF)

5. plug in LE +GF with x

.5(76+144)

In this lesson, you learned new formulas to find the area of a triangle. How are these formulas different from the commonly know
Yuki888 [10]
Aside from the conventional formula for triangle, A=<span>½bh which is only applicable to problems where the base and height are already given and the triangle is a right triangle having a degree of 90. There are some formulas in getting the area of a triangle:

>Given three sides of the triangle, use Heron's Formula
A= sqrt(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))
s= (a+b+c)/2
>Given two sides with an included angle
</span>Area = <span>1/2 </span><span>ab sin (tetha)
</span><span>tethat should be in degrees

The discriminant of the equation x^2 - 4x + 4 = 0 shows there will be solution(s).
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

one real

Answer: 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Givens

a = 1

b = -4

c = 4

Discriminate

Discriminate = sqrt(b^2 - 4*a*c)

Discriminate  = sqrt(  (-4)^2 - 4 * (1)(4) )

Discriminate = sqrt ( 16 - 16)

Discriminate = sqrt(0)

Discriminate = 0

That means the 1 real root is -  b / 2a = 4/(2*1) = - -2 = 2
