uysha [10]
The Friar proposes a plan;

That Juliet does agree to go through with the wedding to Paris, but on the night before the ceremony, she should drink a sleeping potion that will make her seem lifeless or dead to her family and loved ones. Then Juliet will be put to rest in the Capulet tomb and then the Friar will send a messenger to fetch Romeo from Mantua, and the messenger will explain the plan. swat32

Answer:

He was infamous in that small town, with so much said, and some of it sort of frightening; but at the same time, they had obtained, quietly from Boo, and unseen, little trinkets from when he was a child. At the end of course, it was their very lives he helped them to keep.
