Grant and sherman used the strategy of total war. do you think the end justifies the means? that is did defeting the confederacy
bija089 [108]
Grant and Sherman used the strategy of total war to shorten the war in their favor, using the many deaths of enemies to save lives on their side. We may never know if more would've died if they didn't use the tactic, but in my opinion civilian lives were not theirs to take. Soldiers agreed to die, but civilians didn't, making total war, in my opinion, not right. Others may say that their lives were a necessary sacrifice towards a common goal, but, in my opinion, if one side uses total war, can't the other side use it too for a horrible end? Form your own opinion, but that is mine.

An experiment will be conducted to determine whether children learn their multiplication facts better by practicing with flash c
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer: The correct answer is: it will be impossible to conduct a double-blind experiment because the kid will know whether he or she used flashcards or the computer.

Explanation:

In a double-blind experiment both researchers and patients are blinded to some important information about the study. This with the purpose of obtaining the most accurate answers, since many times people's characteristics or ideas might affect the experiment's development and the results. In the given example, it will be impossible to conduct a double-blind experiment because children (patients) are aware of the method (flashcards or the computer) used to obtain the information.
