Bone marrow plays an important role in our circulatory system because Bone marrow contains hematopoietic stem cells which is the major producer of red blood cells or erythrocytes,white blood cells also know as leukocytes and also platelets( thrombocytes) which is the major components of our blood,the only liquid that is very essential in our circulatory system.

Well, the reson they do this is too look at the pupeles and if they dialate when the light hits there eye then they have not suffered trama to the brain but sence she did see trama then the eyes did not dialate which tells her there is trama in the brain, hope this helps!
