OK. What? First off- what does "will send 90$ mean"? Second- Where and or what are these "Algebra 1 Problems" you speak of?

BTW- if u meant 90 dollars, the dollar sign goes before not after the number: $90. Just saying.

Gwar [14]

draw a perpendicular line from the directrix passing through the focus, this will be the line of symmetry. The vertex(h, k) will be located on the line half way between the focus and directrix. The distance from the focus to the vertex is called the focal length, call it a. The then equation is (x - h)^2 = 4a(y - k) the equation can be manipulated to y = 1/4a(x - h)^2 + k hope it helps

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

If we are to treat these as two ordered pairs, then the rate of change is 1.25.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find this, use the slope equation with the ordered pairs.

m(slope) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (11 9/16 - 9 1/16)/(12 - 10)

m = (2 8/16)/2

m = 2.5/2

m = 1.25

Now we know that this could be a function since we have a constant slope.

Luda [366]

I believe that the number of miles traveled would be 8. This is because you would subtract $5.00 from the $13.80 and then divided by $1.10.
