Step-by-step explanation:

step 1. slope = rise/run

step 2. the rise is the height between any 2 points

step 3. the run is the distance left or right between the same 2 points

step 4. if the line goes up "left to right" the slope is positive, down it is negative

step 5. slope = + 6/2 = 3.

What is the mean for the data set
Andrew [12]
First you would need to add up all of the data given, then divide the sum by 9 because there is 9 pieces of data. So it would be 229/9=25.4444444 repeating.

If Tan A=5/12 then find cot A, cos A and Sin A
Ostrovityanka [42]

Cot A=1/tan A=12/5

cos A= 12/13

sin A=5/13

Draw a right angled triangle

the hypotenuse is the longest side which is 13 using Pythagoras theorem

the side opposite the angle A is 5

the side closest to the angle A which is called the adjacent is 12

sinA =opp/hyp

cos A= adj/hyp

cotA =1/tanA=cos A/sinA

Note: Pythagoras theorem is

hyp²=opp²+adj²

Cos t(sec t - cos t)

simplify the expression
fiasKO [112]
Remember:
sec t=1/cos t
sin²t+cos²t=1            ⇒sin²t=1-cos² t

Therefore:
cos t(sec t- cost)=(cos t* sec t)- cos² t=(cos t * 1/cos t)-cos² t=1-cos²t=sin² t

Answer: cos t(sec t-cos t)=sin² t
