To find the total amount he get,we can first find the interest he would get per year:

$800×6%
=$800×0.06
=$48

In three years, the amount of interest he would get:
=$48×3
=$144

To find the total of principal and interest,we would add the interest he get in three years and the original amount he invested:

$144+$800
=$744

Hope it helps!

Principal , P =$800

Rate , r = 6% = 0.06

Time , t = 3 years

Simple Interest = P*r*t = 800*0.06*3 = $144

Total Interest plus Principal = $800 + $144 = $944

In january the depth of the lake was 1086 feet. In august the depth of the lake was 597.3 feet. What is the percentage decrease
tatiyna

Answer:

The percentage decrease in the depth is 45%

Step-by-step explanation:

January, lake depth = 1086 feet

august, lake depth = 597.3 feet

The decrease in depth = 1086 - 597.3

= 488.7 feet

Percentage decrease = decrease over January lake depth multiply by 100%

% decrease = (488.7/1086)*100%

=0.45*100%

= 45%

AABC has a >b>c. If one of the angles in the triangle is 60°, name the angle that
Westkost [7]

Answer:

m ∠A =90°, m ∠B =60°, and m ∠C =30°

Step-by-step explanation:

If a > b> c  you know the the side opposite ∠ A is the longest side and the side opposite ∠C is the shortest side.

side BC is the longest side,  side AB is the shortest side, and side AC measure is the second longest side.

Draw the Δ ABC and label the longest side, shortest side, and the middle side.  Now the longest side is opposite the biggest angle, the shortest side is opposite the smallest angle.

m ∠A =90°, m ∠B =60°, and m ∠C =30°
