Douglas opposed John Brown's plan to raid at the Harper's ferry because he was sure that the plan would fail and there would be many black deaths.
Explanation:
John Brown was an extreme abolitionist whose intense scorn of subjection drove him to hold onto the United States arms stockpile at Harper's Ferry in October 1859. Hanged for treachery against the Commonwealth of Virginia, Brown immediately turned into a saint among those looking to end subjugation in America.
Douglas denounced servitude in look and language furious and harsh, imagined that slaveholders had relinquished their entitlement to live, that the slaves reserved the option to pick up their freedom in any capacity they could, didn't accept that ethical suasion could ever free the slave, or that political activity would cancel the framework.
I agree with the person above
I believe the answer is: . to stop political parties from raising and spending unregulated funds
In 2002, Mc-cain-Feingold act was created to limit the amount of contribution that could be given for political parties. This Act was created in order to prevent people or organizations from private sectors to have total control on the Government.
The answer could be either A. or C. I'm leaning more into C. because scarcity means having short supply of something, and having not enough resources doesn't satisfy all of ones needs.
Hope this helps!
The correct answer to this open question is the following.
Although the question is incomplete because it does not include the Synergy lessons and readings, we can say the following.
The situation was the prohibition of the local government to organize a fundraising rally in the public square of the town, arguing that our school has the proper facilities to organize it. However, the idea to make it public was to invite the members of our community to participate to get more money for the social cause we wanted to support.
We could have done in the school premises with our families, but that would have limited the scope of the event.
So through synergy, we talk to many non-governmental groups and social groups of our community, and we united forces to talk to officials and get the authorization.
Once we had the OK, we split responsibilities and allow each group to do what they needed to do based on its experience and people's skills.
So, trusting each other, sharing our resources, and leaving egos out of the question, we could unite and have a great event with the participation of the citizens in public property.
