A study of immunizations among school‑age children in California found that some areas had rates of unvaccinated school‑age chil
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

Probability that none of the 20 children in such a classroom would be unvaccinated is 0.055.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that a classroom of 20 children in one such area where 13.5% of children are unvaccinated.

If there are no siblings in the classroom, we are willing to consider the vaccination status of the 2020 unrelated children to be independent.

The above situation can be represented through binomial distribution;

P(X=r) = \binom{n}{r} \times p^{r} \times (1-p)^{n-r} ; x = 0,1,2,3,......

where, n = number of trials (samples) taken = 20 children

            r = number of success = none of the 20 children

            p = probability of success which in our case is probability that

                   children are unvaccinated, i.e; p = 13.5%

Let X = Number of children that are unvaccinated

So, X ~ Binom(n = 20, p = 0.135)

Now, Probability that none of the 20 children in such a classroom would be unvaccinated is given by = P(X = 0)

           P(X = 0)  =  \binom{20}{0} \times 0.135^{0} \times (1-0.135)^{20-0}

                          =  1\times 1 \times 0.865^{20}

                          =  0.055

Hence, the probability that none of the 20 children in such a classroom would be unvaccinated is 0.055.

What is there to answer! AH HA HA HA.

*smacks keyboard on head*

Please read this.

Why am I running for president of the United States of America? That’s a good question, and perhaps there’s no good way to answer it. Or perhaps there is a good way to answer it. Either way, it’s a good question and I’m glad it was asked.

I want to talk a little bit about our nation’s opinion. Before this speech, a man named Robert Exley came up to me. Robert is a artist, a very noble profession. He was holding his small daughter, Emily, an adorable 3-year-old who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. He is a straight shooter, and came up to me and asked me a question I can't forget: “Hey, Cameron, do you like children?” And I looked him straight in the eye and said, “Yes, Robert, I do.” Maybe that’s not a popular opinion, but it’s what I believe.

The state of our economy is in a constant flux. Every single day, the stocks go up or go down or will stay the same. If elected president, I will ask the Federal Reserve to take a good long look at the interest rate and decide whether or not to change it. If elected president, I will create jobs where there are none, and where there are jobs, I will create internships.

And to those of you who would say, “I don’t think children are our future,” I must say in the strongest of terms: “I disagree.” Sometimes you have to take a stand for what you believe in like I do. We all should.

I will say our country is sharply divided over a war that is being waged in this land, all lands. My views on this war are clear: it is happening, it is happening in everywhere, and it will continue to happen until it is cured.

What do you mean by cured?

Well is a virus, specifically one called Coronavirus...

Some people believe we should withdraw all the activities we do now. Some people believe we do all the activities we want to right now. Some people believe we should stay and fight it until we’ve established a stable nation. Some people feel like we have handed over control to the virus. I feel we should fight it and develop a cure to live in a country with our deserved freedom, we cannot and will not hand it over to a virus.

We all need some socializing, not like you kind people are doing today but instead what activities you would prefer to do.

- I care deeply about social service programs and providing opportunities for low-income households

- provide free tuitions for doctors

- close the income gap and raise the minimum wage

- I appreciate everyone who wakes up every day and works hard for their community
