Answer - Potassium chlorate

Explanation-

Composition of oxygen potassium and chlorine makes a salt named potassium chlorate. It finds its use in many areas like disinfectant oxidizing agents explosives etc.

KClO_{3} or potassium Chlorate has a low solubility in water hence among all other salts at 20 degree centigrade this one has the least chances of dissolving in it.

Since increase in temperatures are responsible for increase in solubility of many others it also happens with KClO_{3} but compared to others even increase temperature solubility is lesser from others.

A) What characteristics of physical properties distinguish metals from nonmetals?
salantis [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question is:

Explanation:

a)

Metals: are shiny, malleable and ductile, they can conduct electricity and heat, form cations in aqueous solutions.

Nonmetals: non-lustrous, brittle, not good conductors of heat and electricity, form anions in aqueous solutions.

b)

Metals are located in the left side of the periodic table

Nonmetals are located in the right side of the periodic table.

c)

Metal are use to make pans because they are good conductors of heat and also are malleable and ductile.

Nonmetals are used to make sleeping bags and coolers because they do not conduct heat so they can isolate matter.

I will give brainliest!! How long is the pencil? Make sure to use the appropriate amount of significant figures.
8090 [49]

Answer: Option (c) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The bottom of pencil is placed at the starting point of scale. Whereas the tip of pencil depicts the end point of its length.

The bottom of pencil is at 0 mm and tip of pencil is at 18.73 mm. The appropriate amount of significant figures is 18.73 mm.

Therefore, we can conclude that out of the given options, pencil is 18.73 mm long.

When studying atoms, scientists can ignore the
vekshin1

When studying atoms, scientists can ignore the Gravitational force between charged particles that make up the atoms because it is many millions of times smaller than other forces in the atom.

Explanation:

Scientists can ignore the gravitational force because the gravitational force is considered to be negligible as compared to the other forces due to its smaller value. We all know that the gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass of an object which result in a small force value. When the value of this small force is compared to the value of the electrical force between protons and electrons in atoms the we can say that the electrical force is million times stronger than the gravitational force

Thus we can say that scientists can ignore the Gravitational force between charged particles that make up the atoms because it is many millions of times smaller than other forces in the atom.

What is the conclusive evidence that mixing sugar in the water is a physical change
djyliett [7]
THE DEFINITION OF PHYSICAL CHANGE: Physical changes are changes affecting the form of a chemical substance, but not its chemical composition. Physical changes are used to separate mixtures into their component compounds, but can not usually be used to separate compounds into chemical elements or simpler compounds. so the answer is that the form of the sugar is changing in water but if you boiled the water till its all evaporated all that will be left is the sugar
