1.(4/9)^2=(4/9)(4/9)=16/81
2. Make all denominators the same so 1/3=6/18 2/9=4/18 and finally, 1/2=9/18
3. Add the three fractions together to get 19/19 which is just 1 however for this question we shall leave it as 19/19
4. Remember KFC so our question becomes 16/81 x 19/19
5. Work this out as 16/81

If a ball is thrown directly upward with a velocity of 50ft/s, it's height (in feet) after t seconds is given by y=50t-16t^2 wha
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

39.0625 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the function is a quadratic representing height, and the coefficient of the t² is negative, the vertex of the parabola will be the maximum height achieved by the ball.

The general form for a quadratic equation is ax² + bx + c, here a is -16, and b is 50

To find the x coordinate of the vertex, use   x = -b/(2a)

We have x = -50/[2(-16)]

                  x = -50/-32

                         x= 25/16

Now plug that into the equation to find the y value, which will be the height...

y = 50(25/16) - 16(25/16)²

    y = 1250/16 - 16(625/256)

        y = 1250/16 - 625/16

              y = 625/16

                   y = 39.0625

using the following image. findUsing the attached image, apply what you have lease about linear pairs and solve for x.
natka813 [3]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Linear pairs

(4x + 1)  + 75  = 180

Add the like terms

4x +  76 = 180

Subtract 76 from both sides,

4x = 180- 76

4x = 104

Divide both sides by 4

x = 104/4

x = 26
