Answer:

A. Being in a domestic fight

Explanation:

Intentional injuries is when a  person brings harm to himself/herself  or other people on purpose. This action is done on purpose but the end result is that the person involve hurt himself.

An example of intentional injuries is  interpersonal fight such as sexual assault and domestic fight. This conscious intent by a person to inflict injuries on himself might lead to death.

Being in a domestic fight can lead to intentional injuries. The person involve in a domestic fight is fully aware that violence can cause harm to him/her but he/she still decided to engage in it .

Being hurt by a rock is not an intentional injury. Being cut by a  tool is not an unintentional injury, likewise been hit by a car is unintentional injury.

Anarel [89]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-C

Explanation:

In an organism, the mechanism of gas exchange depends on the partial pressure and total pressure of the gas.  Partial pressure is the pressure of the gas exerted by a single type of gas in a mixture of gases and this pressure determines the movement of gases in the system.

The diffusion of the oxygen from the alveoli to blood capillaries depends on the partial pressure as the partial pressure of oxygen is high in alveoli measured about 104 mmHg compared to the capillaries measured about 40 mmHg.

This difference in the pressure generates pressure gradient which leads to the movement of the oxygen from alveoli to the capillaries as the movement takes place from higher to lower concentration gradient.

Thus, Option-C is the correct answer.

As Dr. Austin studies the effects of aging on memory. The doctor needs long time to study this effect. The one factor can be taken as longitudinal design and other as cross sectional design. This signifies that the doctor has used the cross sequential based research method.
