For a necklace.
There are x wooden beads at $0.50 each.
There are 6 glass beads at $1.25 each

Therefore the cost of the beads in a necklace is
0.50x + 6*1.25 = 0.5x + 7.5 dollars

There are (x+6) beads. Because the average cost of the beads is $0.75, therefore
\frac{0.5x+7.5}{x+6} =0.75 \\\\ 0.5x+7.5=0.75(x+6)

The solution for x may be obtained as follows:
0.5x + 7.5 = 0.75x + 4.5
-0.25x = -3
x = -3/-0.25 = 12

Answer:
The equation to find x is
(0.5x + 7.5) = 0.75(x + 6)

Answer:

x =23

Step-by-step explanation:

After adding 3 to both sides of the equation, you get ; -4x + 3x + 26= 3 .Then subtract 26 on both sides of the equation, to get; -x (I.e from subtracting -4x + 3x) =3-26

-x = 3-26

-x = -23

After dividing both sides by -1, you get;

x=23

Generalize the pattern by finding the nth term. 2, 6, 12, 20...
natulia [17]

this is neither a geometric nor an arithmetic sequence

add 4, add 6, add 8

Since you have options, I would guess and check

n=2

2^2+2 =6

3(2)-1 = 5  no

(2+1) (2+2) =12  no

14 is the GCF of anumber M and 210. What are possible values of M?
Cloud [144]
<span>14 = GCF of M and 210
M = possible values

GCF = Greatest common denominator
Now, let’s start decomposing
=> 210 | 2
=> 105 | 2
=>  35 | 5
=> 7 | 7
=> 1

Thus, 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 210

Now let’s find the factors of 14
=> 14 | 2
=> 7 | 7
=> 1

Thus, 2 x 7 = 14

Notice that’s there’s no 14 in 210 shown factors, but the only GCF found is 7.
Thus, the value of M that we’re looking for is infinite. All numbers that has the GCF of 7 are applicable.</span>

Samaria has 6 more than three times as many pieces of candy as sydney. samaria has 36 pieces of candy. how many does sydney have
lesya [120]

For this case we have:

x: Number of candies that Sydney has

The equation to find the amount of Sydney sweets is given by:

3x + 6 = 36

We want to clear x:

3x = 36-63x = 30

x = \frac{30}{3}

x = 10

So, Sydney has 10 candies

Answer:

Sydney has 10 candies
