A pharmacist is trying to stock the pharmacy with cheaper alternatives for customers. She will stop carrying the more expensive

items. In doing so, she is trying to determine which of the following forms is the most expensive. Tablet form comes in 50 mg tablets and cost $75.00 for a bottle of 100 tablets. Capsule form comes in 75 mg capsules and cost $63.75 for a bottle of 85 capsules Caplet form comes in 100 mg caplets and cost $70.00 for 40 caplets. Based on the given information, which form is the most expensive? a. Tablet form is the most expensive. b. Capsule form is the most expensive. c. Caplet form is the most expensive. d. $75/100 tablets = $ 0.75 per one tablet

$63.75/85 capsules = $ 0.75 per one capsule

$ 70.00/40 caplets = $ 1.75 per one caplet.

The most expensive form is C. Caplet form as it costs $ 1.75 for one caplet.

Answer : C.  Caplet form is the most expensive.

Tablet form comes in 50 mg tablets and cost $75.00 for a bottle of 100 tablets.

50 mg of 100 tablets so 50 * 100 = 5000mg

5000mg cost = $75.00

So 1mg of tablet form cost = \frac{75}{5000} = 0.015

Capsule form comes in 75 mg capsules and cost $63.75 for a bottle of 85  capsules

75 mg of 85  capsules,  so 75 * 85 = 6375mg

6375mg cost = $63.75

So 1mg of Capsule form cost = \frac{63.75}{6375} = $0.01

Caplet form comes in 100 mg caplets and cost $70.00 for 40 caplets

100 mg of 40 caplets ,  so 100 * 40 = 4000 mg

4000mg cost = $70.00

So 1mg of Caplet form cost = \frac{70}{4000} = $0.0175

Caplet form is the most expensive.

Lim of tan(x) as x approaches pi/2. It does not ask from either the + or - direction, just pi/2. The answer is 0, but i think it
faltersainse [42]
Yes, you are right, if it approaches from the left, the limit is infinity and if it approaches from the right, the limit is negative infinity. The limit does not exist because it reaches infinity as x approaches pi/2 and the limits are the same when the value is approached from the opposite directions.

A cylinder has a radius of 4x + 2 and a height of 5x + 4. Which polynomial in standard form best describes the total volume of t
Olenka [21]
Area of the base = pi*(4x+2)^2 = pi*(16x^2 +16x +4)

volume of cylinder = pi*r^2 *h

V = pi *(16x^2 +16x +4)(5x+4) = pi*(80x^3 +80x^2 +20x +64x^2 +64x +16) =

= pi*(80x^3 +144x^2 +84x +16)

than we consider it without pi so result choice A. is right sure

hope helped

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

The cylindrical part

Area of the cylindrical part = Circumference of the circle * height

Area of the cylindrical part = pi * d * height

Area = 3.14 * 10 * 9

Area =                                                                                282.6

Lid

Area = pi * r^2

r = 5

Area = 3.14* 5^2 * 2

Area =                                                                         <u>         157</u>

Total                                                                                    439.6

I know this doesn't look right according to the diagram, but it is the only way that you can solve the question. That is, you must assume there are two lids, not one as the diagram suggests.
