Answer:

The correct option is C.

Step-by-step explanation:

Two events are disjoint or mutually exclusive if they cannot occur together.

That is, if two events are mutually exclusive, then the probability of them both taking place at one time is null.

That is, if events A and B are mutually exclusive then, P (A and B) = 0.

The events in this case can be defined as follows:

A = adults in a country bet on professional sports

B = male adults

The two events A and B are not mutually exclusive. This is because an adult in a country betting on professional sports can either be a male or a female.

So, a person can be both male and bet on professional sports at the same time.

Thus, the events A and B are not mutually exclusive.

The correct option is C.

(x^4)^3=(x^3)^4 true or false
telo118 [61]

Step-by-step explanation:

(x^4)^3=(x^3)^4 , true

=> x^(4×3) = x^(3×4) = x^12

13^4 x 13^7= (13^4)^7, false

13^(4+7) = 13^11

(13^4)^7 = 13^(4×7) = 13^28

y^5 x y^0/y^3=(y^2)^1 , true

y^5 x y^0/y^3 = y^(5+0-3) = y^2

(y^2)^1 = y^(2×1) = y^2

q^0 x q^5/q^2=(q^3)^2/q^3, true

q^0 x q^5/q^2= q^(0+5-2)= q^3

(q^3)^2/q^3 = q^(3×2-3) = q^3

Explain how you would round the number 33 and 89 estimate their sum
Brrunno [24]
I am assuming that we have to round the numbers to the nearest tens.
When rounding off numbers, if the number is more than half, then you round it up for example, if the number is 15 and you want to round it off, you round it up to 20. But if the number is 14 you round is down to 10

Therefore, 33 would be rounded off to 30 as 3 is less than 5 in the ones place if you get what I mean.

As for 89, you would round it up to 90 as the 9 in the ones place is more than 5.

Therefore the sum of 90 and 10 is 100.

Hope this helps!
