Answer:

Urban development can magnify the risk of environmental hazards such as flash flooding. Pollution and physical barriers to root growth promote loss of urban tree cover. Animal populations are inhibited by toxic substances, vehicles, and the loss of habitat and food sources

Answer:

Urbanism has a direct cause for the decrease of quality in the environment. One major effect is increased global warming. The heavy fumes from the factories in urbanized environments cause the atmosphere (ozone layer) to break down. This allows in an excess amount of heat/ultraviolet rays, which in turn effects Earth's daily processes and creates an extreme greenhouse effect. A secondary effect from this is ocean level's rising. The Earth's atmosphere heating up means the polar icecaps are starting to melt. This will cause a lot of major areas to be flooded such as California, New York, and many other important places that could be underwater in as little as 30 years. There are little to no sanctions on how the factories in these densely populated areas are to function while keeping the environment in mind. Knowing this information, the main consensus is that Urbanism is greatly harming environment and will continue to do so unless people start taking notice to the striking decline in environmental health; which directly correlates to the spread of urbanization.

What is a Colony And how is it a colony
Liula [17]

Answer:

A colony is like a group of people or creatures that live in the same place.

The best example I can give is an Ant colony.

Ant colonies live in ant holes made by workers, and the ants all go hunt for food and stuff like we do.

Dominick's close friends, if he had any, would describe him as irritable, gloomy, and socially inhibited. He tends to worry exce
Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

The answer is Option D: Type D.

Explanation:

It seems from the information provided that Dominick has a Type D personality which means he is distressed. Individuals in this group are likely to experience high levels of anxiety and loneliness. They may have experienced trauma in the past which causes their mental and emotional health to suffer. People with Type D personalities experience a lot of negative affectivity combined with a great degree of social inhibition. People with Type D personality traits are likely to have a tendency to withdraw from novel situations and avoid social events.
