To use one as a benchmark fraction in order to compare 6/5 and 5/6, you will use fractions that are equal to one with denominators of 5 and 6.

Ex:  to compare 6/5 to one, you will write 5/5 for one whole.  6/5 is greater than 5/5.

Ex:  to compare 5/6 to one, you will write 6/6 for one whole.  5/6 is less than 6/6.

This means that 6/5 is greater than 5/6 because 6/5 is greater than 1 and 5/6 is less than 1.

Assume that the significance level is alpha equals 0.01. Use the given information to find the P-value and the critical value(
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:  0.1010052

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Significance level : \alpha=0.01

Alternative hypothesis : H_1:\ p\neq\dfrac{3}{4}

The test statistic value : z=-1.64

Since , the alternative hypothesis is two-tailed, so the test is a two-tailed test.

Using standard normal distribution table for z, we have

The P-value of two-tailed test will be :-

2P(z>|-1.64|)=2P(z>1.64)\\\\=2(1-P(z\leq1.64))\\\\=2(1-0.9494974)\\\\=0.1010052

Hence, the P-value = 0.1010052

Find the x intercept and y intercept of the graph of the equation. 5x+4y=20
Andrej [43]

5x + 4y = 20

4y = 20 - 5x

y = 20/4 - 5/4x

y = 5 - 5/4x

The x intercept is when y = 0

0 = 5 - 5/4x

5/4x = 5

x = 4.5/5

x = 4

The y intercept is when x = 0

y = 5 - 5/4x

y = 5 - 5/4.0

y = 5

Indicate the method you would use
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

<em> SSS</em><em> can be used to prove that the given triangles are congruent.</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given two triangles ΔADC and ΔABC,

  1. AD = AB = 7 units,
  2. CD = BC = 8 units,
  3. AC is common to both triangles,

Hence, ΔADC ≅ ΔABC by Side-Side-Side (SSS) congruence.

SSS congruence-

If three sides of one triangle are congruent to three sides of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.

Help me with this.<br> Calculate angles in a triangle
kakasveta [241]

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Angle in a triangle is 180°

so D = 140 + 25 = 165°

D = 190° - 165° = 15°

Your answer is 15°.
