Answer:

so I'm not 100% sure but in these types of questions you are supposed to divide

so you have a pack of 24 bottles for 7.99

so you would do 7.99÷24 = 0.33

then to check it you can multiply

0.33× 24 bottles and it gives you 7.93 which is super close to 7.99 anyway I hope this helps ...

There are 50 kids taking archery at Bentwood Summer Camp. If 25% of the kids are taking archery, how many kids are at Bentwood S
kakasveta [241]

Using the properties of percentages we can calculate that there are 200 kids in the archery camp that summer.

Long before the decimal numeral system, Ancient Rome routinely computed in fractions as multiples of 1/100.

A percentage is a dimensionless (pure) number; it has no unit of measurement.

The % value is determined by multiplying the numerical value of the ratio by 100. To calculate 50 apples as a percentage of 1250 apples, first compute 50/1250 = 0.04, then multiply by 100 to get 4%.

Let the total number of kids in the camp be x.

The number of kids who took archery = 25%

But 50 students took archery.

hence 25% of x = 50

Solving we infer:

x = 200

Therefore there are 200 kids in the camp.

What is the future value of $845 a year for seven years at an interest rate of 11.3 percent? $6,683.95 $6,075.69 $8,343.51 $8,00
k0ka [10]
The future value of cash whose initial value is $845, at the rate of 11.3% for 7 years will be calculated using the compound interest rate, that is:
A=p(1+r/100)^n
where:
A=future amount
r=rate=11.3%=0.113
time=7 years
thus the future value of our cash will be:
A=845(1+0.113)^7
A=845(1.113)^7
A=$1,787.82
