Why is the D.C. important to the Northeast???
MrRa [10]

Answer:Northeast is home to Gallaudet University, a federally chartered private university for the education of the deaf and hard of hearing located in the Trinidad neighborhood. It is also home to The Catholic University of America and Trinity Washington University, two of the Catholic institutions which give the Brookland neighborhood its nickname of "Little Rome" or "Little Vatican." Others include the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, the Mount St. Sepulchre Franciscan Monastery, the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family, Saint Anselm's Abbey Benedictine Monastery, the Dominican House of Studies, the Capuchin College, and the headquarters of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The quadrant is home to two large public gardens located below the waistline of the Anacostia River: the United States National Arboretum and Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. The headquarters of The Heritage Foundation and The Washington Times are also located in Northeast.

How did Hammurabi improve the economy of the Babylonian Empire?
Helga [31]

Answer:

King Hammurabi was eighteen years when he became King of Babylon after his father's death and ruled between 1792 till 1750 BC.

The young king was not daunted by the task of being king of such a big kingdom and he immediately began to make peace treaties with strong and powerful neighboring countries and working on making the kingdom prosperous. He did this by undertaking several projects like strengthening the city walls, and new and better irrigation systems.

After he had defeated his enemies and neighboring countries, he established the first Babylonian Empire and went further to improve the city by building more temples, constructing canals and acqueduts.

Major developments in transportation and city infrastructure have influenced the growth and development of the lodging industry.
Yuki888 [10]

Over the past 20 years, many facets of the hotel industry have shifted to adapt to new technology and changing consumer behavior, which have in turn changed how hoteliers conduct business.

“The lodging industry has changed in several key areas over the past decades and many of these changes have helped hoteliers to enhance their products, attract more guests and create opportunities for expansion,” said Chip Rogers, president and CEO of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association.

However, those changes have also had an impact on the bottom line, which Rogers said has become more difficult to attain and has diminished over time.
