Answer: World War II

Before WWI, the United States had mostly embraced a policy of non-interventionism, with a few notable exceptions, including WWI itself. After the war, non-interventionism gained importance once more and it was the dominant foreign policy from 1932 to 1938.

However, after this date, President Franklin D. Roosevelt began to provide increasingly strong support to the Allies. The national policy became one of financing Allied Armies without sending soldiers to combat. However, after threats to Japan in order to force it out of China, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941. Roosevelt then sent forces to the Pacific, and then to North Africa and Europe. This began the involvement of the United States in international affairs.

1. Social structures are all around us. In terms of school, we can see a structure within the school staff. For example, a principal is higher in the hierarchy of power than a vice-principal, and a teacher is higher than a teacher assistant.

2. Social structures can be benefitial as they help us structure tasks and distribute power. Hierarchies, when based on merit, can also serve as ways to recognize the accomplishments of people. However, social structures also have negative effects. People can become obsessed with power and control, and abuse those that have less power. Social structures can also make social mobility difficult.

What constitutional issues and/or questions unanswered in the U.S. Constitution as of 1860 tore the nation apart in 1861?
choli [55]
Well i can say that this is a question that no one will ever have the answer to, well an exact one that is, and if there was an exact answer to this question im sure that you would have answered it yourself but, this is what started the civil war such as the new rules of slavery, north wanted to abolish it while the south wanted to keep slaves around. that is probably the biggest reason why the civil war began

How did European imperialism following the Industrial Revolution differ from earlier forms of imperialism?
erica [24]
C. It was used in Africa and Asia rather than the Americas. SInce the Industrial Revolution, European countries needed more raw materials to use for their consumption. Asian and Africa are continents that are rich in raw materials and the only way to get the raw materials is to dominate and colonize the countries in that continents.
