Before Japan bombed parole harbor we didn't want to get involved in any of it. so the answer is D because that's when we got involved with other countries again.

Answer: World War II

Before WWI, the United States had mostly embraced a policy of non-interventionism, with a few notable exceptions, including WWI itself. After the war, non-interventionism gained importance once more and it was the dominant foreign policy from 1932 to 1938.

However, after this date, President Franklin D. Roosevelt began to provide increasingly strong support to the Allies. The national policy became one of financing Allied Armies without sending soldiers to combat. However, after threats to Japan in order to force it out of China, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941. Roosevelt then sent forces to the Pacific, and then to North Africa and Europe.This began the involvement of the United States in international affairs.
