Does anyone have tips on how to stop running out of time at the end of the Reading section on the SAT? On the last SAT I had to
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

Have you tried reading the questions first and then searching for them in the passage? I've started doing that when taking any standardized test and it's helped me a lot.

Also, if allowed by whomever is watching over you while you test, I highly recommend wearing a watch. It'll help you pace yourself (but try not to watch it obsessively because that's actually counterproductive)

Hope this helps

At this instant, can you say what the velocity of the bear is?.
slega [8]

No

10 m/s² towards the left

Taking right side as positive

F_{net} =15-17=-2 N

F=ma

⇒ a=\frac{F}{m}

⇒ a =\frac{-2}{0.2}

⇒ a=-10 m/s^2

The acceleration is 10 m/s² towards the left.

v=u+at

s=ut+\frac{1}{2} at^{2}

u^{2} -u^{2} -2as

From the three equations of motion it can be seen that in order to find velocity either time or displacement is required. Hence, the velocity cannot be found.

sure hope this helps :)
