Therefore, we conclude that the population proportion of men is greater than the population proportion of women.

<u>P-value is given by the following formula</u>;

     P(Z > 3.05) = 1 - P(Z \leq 3.05)

                        = 1 - 0.99886 = 0.0011

Hence, the p-value is 0.0011.
