Answer:

15) 30

16) 2

for 15 you plug the -4 into the variable (x)

so...

-4(-4)-4-2-5(-4)

you do multiplication first because of PEMDAS

so -4×-4=16 it is not negative because there 2 negatives so they cancel out

then -5×-4=20

then you get this:

16-4-2+20 which equals 30

then with 16 you do the same. you just put the number for y in the variable y and same with x

Which of the following ordered pairs could be the y-intercept of the function?
kolbaska11 [484]
I would probably say (0,0) just because (5,0) falls on the x-axis and not on the y-axis and the other are just regular plotting coordinates. (0,0) is the only one that falls on the y-axis although it still falls on the x-axis as well

1. Given:

(4x + 2.2)(3x - 5)

Apply the Distributive property:

=12x^2+6.6x-20x-11

Add the like terms:

=12x^2-13.4x-11

You can idenfity that:

- Degree: 2

- Number of terms: 3

2. Given:

(-304 +503 - 12) + (7x^3 - 25 + 6)

Add the like terms:

=187 + 7x^3 - 25 + 6=7x^3+168

You can idenfity that:

- Degree: 3

- Number of terms: 2

3. Given:

(3x^2 - 3)(3x^2 + 3)

Apply Distributive property:

=9x^4-9x^2+9x^2-9

Add the like terms:

=9x^4-9

You can idenfity that:

- Degree: 4

- Number of terms: 2

GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

99.7%

Step-by-step explanation:

Note that 92 and 128 are 3 standard deviations from the mean

The emperical rule or the  68–95–99.7 rule states that 68% of outcomes are wihtin 1 standard deviation from the mean

95% of outcomes are within 2 standard deviations from the mean

99.7% of outcomes are within 3 standard devations from the mean

This is 3 standard deviations so the answer is 99.7
