It’s B
If y-x=6
Y +X =_10
then y= 6 + x, instead of y insert this no
6+ x+ x =-10
6 + 2x =-10 then collect like terms
2x =-10-6
2x=-16 then multiple both side by 1/2
X=-8
Y=6+x instead of x insert -8
Y=6-8
=-2

Compare positive and negative slope for linear relationships. How are they the same? How are they different?
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

Please check explanations

Step-by-step explanation:

Slopes are generally the ratio of rise(vertical difference) to fall (horizontal difference) for set of points lying on a straight line

Positive slopes show a positive relationship between the two things we are considering while a negative one shows otherwise

They are the same in the sense that they actually represent a constant change between the coordinates of the points in the relationship we are considering.

They are different in the sense that while one represents a positive change, whereby both axes move in the same direction ( rise at same rate, fall at same rate) , the second represent a relationship in which they move in opposite directions. While one falls, the other rises and while the other rises, the second one falls which indicates an opposing movement type between the two

Pencils come in packages of 10.Erasers come in packages of 12. Phillips wants to purpose the smallest number of pencils and eras
balandron [24]

Answer:

The answer to your question is:

Packages of pencils = 6

Packages of erasers = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Pencils = 10/package

Erasers = 12 / package

Process

Find the least common factor of 10 and 12

                                    10     12     2

                                     5       6     2

                                     5       3     3

                                     5        1    5

                                      1

LCF = 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 = 60

Finally divide 60 by the number of pencils or erasers in each package

Packages of pencils = 60/10 = 6

Packages of erasers = 60/12 = 5

Perimeter of quadrilateral ANCM = AN+NC+CM+MA

CM=AM = x in
Therefore, AN=NC = x in
In other words, all sides of the new quadrilateral are equal.

Perimeter (P) = 4x in

Now, Cos 45 = (x-6)/x =>0.7041 = (x-6)/x => 0.7041x=x-6 =>x= 6/(1-0.70741)
x= 20.5 in

Therefore, P=4*20.5 = 82 in
