Answer:

x=8/-3 or 2.6

Step-by-step explanation:

You have to isolate the "x" so move the +7 to the other side of the equation and you get this:

-3x=1+7

Now you can simplify and add 7 plus 1 which is 8

the equation should looks like this now:

-3x=8

Then to have x by itself you divide -3 on both sides.

-3 divided by -3x just leaves the x there and -3 divided by 8 is just 8/-3 or in decimal form it's 2.6

-3x/-3= x

8/-3= 8/-3 or 2.6

x= 8/-3

I'm not really good at explaining but I hope it helped :/

Answer:

x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

              -3x+7=1

subtract 7 from both sides: -3x+7-7=1-7

simplify: -3x=-6

divide both sides by -3:  \frac{-3x}{-3}=\frac{-6}{-3}

simplify: x=2

Sampling every 100th invoice would be an example of:_______a. Randomization.b. Proxemics.c. Stratification.d. JRP.e. Observation
gregori [183]

Answer: C. Stratification

Step-by-step explanation: There are diverse samping techniques employed for statistical purposes depending on the tipe and nature of data available or other factors. When a data population is sampled in sects such that the entire data is divided into a equals groups at a fixed intervals based on a certain criteria, it is called stratified sampling. Here, data is divided into strata, with each stratum containing a fixed amount of samples with each partition taking place at regular interval. In the scenario stratification process is employed by sampling at a fixed and regular interval, however, the random nature of the data is not violated.

A number, n, is added to 15 less than 3 times itself. The result is 101. Which equation can be used to find the value of n? 3n –
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

A : 3n - 15 + n = 101

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:-

- We will denote a number as "n".

- The result of 3 times itself less 15 would be:

                         3*itself - 15

                         itself = n

                         3*n - 15

- Then a number "n" is added to the above result:

                         3*n - 15 + n.

- The result of above expression is 101:

                         3*n - 15 + n = 101

- Option A is the correct answer
