Answer:

White Indentured servant.

Explanation:

Growing cash crop tobacco in America became part of their economy to flourish. The growing of the tobacco led in the rise of the white servants. White indentured servants became common in America during the early settlement. Indentured servants were part of the contract which allowed them to work for a few years after reaching America and set free with receiving tools and a small plot of land to start a new life as a farmer.

What was the effect of the 16th amendment?
viva [34]
The effect of the 16th Amendment was that b) It granted Congress the power to tax incomes. The 16th Amendment to the United States Constitution allowed Congress to levy taxes without apportioning it to that specific state or basing it on the United States Census (apportioning it to the state and according to their respective numbers) and this included all taxes except income tax.

The passage of the Fifteenth Amendment in 1869 prompted the formation of two major suffrage organizations because
marissa [1.9K]
There was the National Woman Suffrage Association and the American Woman Suffrage Association. The National Association immediately went to campaigning for universal suffrage. The American Association focused on more of a state-by-state basis. They worried that tying women's suffrage, which was extremely unpopular, would hurt the black suffrage movement that was just starting.

how did the Americans disagree over the role of the federal and state governments before and after the during the civil war?
romanna [79]
From what I can remember, states' rights was a large factor contributing to the Civil War. With Lincoln becoming president and representing the North, the Southern states seceded, leading to a war. The state governments of the South argued that since the Constitution and federal government was created by the states, the federal government had no right to stop states from seceding. President Lincoln and other northerners disagreed and wanted to preserve the Union by stopping states from seceding.
After the war, I believe the South still disagreed on a strong federal government. They wanted to rule the area by themselves.
