Answer:

Explanation:

It's hard to tell. I was looking at a diagram representing the atmosphere. 50 miles is right on the edge of the Mesosphere. The temperature is about - 135 or so. It does climb up to about - 49 according to the Royal BC Museum.

Which of the following statements about weather along mountain ranges is correct?
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The windward position on a mountain is the side that is bombarded with prevailing winds. These winds are forced upwards into the upper cooler atmosphere by the physical barrier of the mountain. The moisture in the winds condenses forming clouds that precipitate as rain. As the winds descend on the other side of the mountain (leeward side), they have little moisture left. Therefore, the windward side will be rich in vegetation and biodiversity  due to higher annual rainfall than the leeward side.

SIZIF [17.4K]

The given data is Magnification, M = 15

Length of the tube , L = 16 cm

The focal length of the lens can be calculated by:

M = L/F

Substituting the value, we get:

15 = 16/f

f = 16/15

f = 1.067 cm

Using the equation of magnification we get,

M = v/u

Substituting the values we get:

15 = v/u

v = 15 u

With the help of lens formula, calculate the object distance:

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

Substituting the value we get,

1/1.067 = 1/15u + 1/u

0.937 = 1.067/u

u = 1.13 cm or 1.1 cm.

Hence, the object distance is 1.1 cm.
