In my opinion the best way to solve these equations are elimination, therefore I will be giving my answer in this way!

2x-y+8z=13 1️⃣

3x+4y+52=182️⃣

5x-2y-72=203️⃣

We first combine liked terms in equation 2 and 3.

2️⃣turns into 3x+4y=-34 let's call it 2️⃣'

3️⃣turns into 5x-2y=92 let's call it 3️⃣'

Then solve for x

3️⃣'*2

10x-4y=184

3️⃣+2️⃣

13x=150

x=150/13

Now substitute the x back into equation 2️⃣'

3*150/13+4y=-34

450/13+4y=-442/13

4y=-892/13

2y=-446/13

y=-223/13

Now we can substitute this back into 1️⃣ to solve for z

2*150/13- - 223/13+8z=169/13

523/13+8z=169/13

8z=-354/13

4z=-177/13

z=-177/52

This problem is kind of messy so let me restate my answer!

x=150/13

y=-223/13

z=-177/52
